About the Playwright

Aimee Dastin is a Washington, D.C.-based playwright and arts administrator dedicated to developing boundary-pushing work. Their writing frequently explores the high pressures of contemporary spaces and the complexity of human decision-making.

They serve as the Audience Experience Manager at the Shakespeare Theatre Company and Vice President of The Arlington Players. Aimee holds a B.A. in Theatre and a Writer’s House Certificate from the University of Maryland, where they served as Assistant Festival Director for the Fearless New Play Festival and as a Stage Manager for mainstage shows.
